Melanie and I are finally in Baltimore. We arrived a day late, but safely. The original route was Beijing to Tokyo to Detroit to Baltimore. We were supposed to arrive in Baltimore on Dec. 22nd early evening, but we had issues on the first leg when we couldn’t land in Narita, Tokyo due to strong gusts of wind. Long story short, we were 3 hours late landing, missed our Detroit connecting flight and had to spend the night in Narita (small city in sub-burbs of Tokyo, where the airport is).
Download Firefox at Mozilla.org.cn
I noticed there was a Mozilla China website, which is essentially Mozilla.org, but in Chinese. There is probably more to it that that, but whatever. Any way, I noticed you can download Firefox, but it’s the English version of it! Is someone sleeping? Mozilla, Firefox, China
I am not sure if this is good or bad. I am generally a Google fan (I use on a regular basis GMail, Google Reader, uh, Google Search (it’s my homepage), and occasionally Google Local, etc…) I was a bit ticked that Yahoo! bought Flickr a while back, and now this. Hopefully it will all work out and these guys will play nicely together, and not piss off the users just because Yahoo!
I guess Google tools are a hit or miss… GMail RSS GMail has a new feature, it shows RSS feeds above the Inbox. Big deal. First of all, it doesn’t even integrate with Google Reader! I spent enough time getting my feeds in Google Reader, now I have to do it again for GMail? I don’t see any OPML import function, so I can’t even hack it! Google dropped the ball on this one.
Is that me?!?
I came across this photo on the net. Is it me? Short answer, no. But I spent the better half of an hour trying to figure out. It started with going to the blog plaxoed! [Mark Jens life @ Plaxo] after seeing it on my colleague’s computer monitor. (A side note, he, Oliver is a real Plaxo fan, and actually converted me some time ago to use Plaxo) I was reading some of Mark’s entries, and after seeing his photo on his site, I thought to myself “man, I know this guy…”.
I have a brand new Dell Latitude Keyboard from work. Not even a week old. What did I do? I spilled Coke on the keyboard. Now, the ‘J’ button does not work. Nice work. Thank god for Dell’s Complete Care support - designed for idiots like me who like to spill things on the keyboard. Spilled on Keyboard
