I guess it's time - I bought an N95!

I couldn’t wait any longer. I bought a N95 (actually, I bought it on Tuesday, just took me a while to post about it). Some initial thoughts: 1. Camera is really nice 2. GPS is slow as a dog 3. I hope the new firmware (to be released soon, I hope) that supports A-GPS will work in China. 4. I use Shozu to upload my photos to Flickr. It seems that setting the “reduced to web” function strips out the camera type field int he exif tags.

Half Off For A Real Spot

They’re offering me 300RMB (normally 600) per month for an underground parking spot. That’s ~US $38.8592 as of today. Is that half logic? I also suggested give me a corner somewhere, not a full spot. 300 as well. Hah. I’m taking it just to be done with it. The next test - once the paperwork is filed, and I go to move my bike, has it been “altered” in any way?

The Parking Gods Have Spoken. But I'm Not Hiding

At my new job, I found a pretty nice parking spot in the rear of the building. Its nestled in a some-what corner right by the back entrance to the mall that occupies floors B1 through 4. That’s not important. The building has both underground parking and above ground parking - I am above ground. I’ve been parking in this spot for the last … 2 months. In fact, I started parking at this spot on the suggestion of one of the parking lot security guards.

Phone Update 2

I tried going to a ebay China mobile phone dealer here in Beijing last night after work (Monday). I was going to get the SE k810i. I had the cash. Turns out these guys don’t have it in stock. ugh So, at the urging of several people, I am going to start looking at Nokia products to see if any of them, N73, N76, N95, etc. are possibilities…
